Most of the schools I checked out in Bariloche no longer existed or had moved some place else. This relatively new school had been recommended to me by the owners of a hostel and it was excellent in all respects. The two owners / teachers have a lot of experience and this - combined with a superb location and the extracurricular program - make this an excellent program. I took the general intensive course and in a matter of 3 weeks attained a very decent level to communicate in basic situations. I stayed with a host family, but I understand other travellers also found their own living arrangements. When I get to Buenos Aires, I will continue with Academia Bariloche's sister school, Academia Buenos Aires. I hope they live up to their Bariloche counterpart.
