Evaluation from tqmiller:
The teachers are patient, very knowledgeable and able to communicate with non-Spanish speakers impressively without resorting to English.
Evaluation from frkoch:
The instructor went above and beyond in helping me understand the material. He was extremely skillful, and I actually enjoyed learning a new language.
Evaluation from jjweber:
This is paradise! I enjoyed studying outside next to the swimming pool or the fountains.
Evaluation from usmith:
I thoroughly researched the various language schools in Cuernavaca. Eventually, I realized that this school was always at the top of my list. I made the right decision.
Evaluation from yyanderson:
The school personnel did more than necessary to help the students. I like that.
Evaluation from katrina:
The Center for Bilingual and Multicultural Studies is excellent! First, it is extremely well-organized. At the start of the week you receive a new schedule of the week´s activities. There are several after-hours opportunities to meet in the city w/ one or more teachers and other students. This provides a great opportunity to practice speaking spanish, which I have found is as helpful as the great classes themselves. The facilities of this school are gorgeous, with pools, fountains, beautiful landscaping. The staff is very accomodating and super friendly. The teachers are engaged and fun. There are many diffent classes to choose depending on your interests; each of the ones I attended were very well organized and helpful. I highly recommend this program!! :-)Excellent.
Evaluation from sacratomato:
Opps I accidently wrote this review on INTERCULTURAL Languages and Culture Center and then realized my mistake, so here it is again (I can't delte it). I was happy with my teachers for the most part. However, I felt that some of my classes were not as structured as they should have been and that some of my instructors did not use the class time very efficiently. The facilities are beautiful and the internet lab is excellent with more than enough work stations. The excursion program was excellent and there was more than enough to keep you occupied. Furthermore, the guide was outstanding and very knowledgeable and enthusiastic during the tours. As to the home stay, my host mother was very nice but her son only wanted to speak English. Also, I wonder what percentage of the rent the school keeps because this family seemed quite broke and the food was lacking in quantity and quality. There were four students staying in the house, so there was perhaps around $100 dollars a day in possible rents. Therefore, I would have expected that the host family would have been in a better economic position unless the school was keeping a significant portion. It just made me wonder.
Evaluation from jmstuckman:
I spent a month at this school taking advanced-level Spanish courses, and my teachers were GREAT. I greatly improved my Spanish speaking skills and I had never had more fun inside a classroom. The schools administration was okay -- many trips and activities were advertised, but not all of them were actually held -- it seems that the activities that the school advertises are the events that it WANTS to hold; not the events that it is able to. One unpleasant aspect of my trip had to do with the types of students that dominate the place... in the summer, 80% of the students were in large groups from American/Canadian universities, and most of them didn't seem too motivated to learn Spanish outside of the classroom. Most of the out-of-class conversation was in English, and it was hard to find people to travel with on weekends because the school groups had other plans. So...the classroom experience was great, and the out-of-class experience was not so good. My time at UNINTER was worth it, but I'll go to a smaller school next time.

Had to change homestays, but my second family rocked. I have been to a lot of language schools, and I had some of my best teachers here. That was a long time ago...10 years maybe.

I loved this school, but I suggest fewer breaks.
