What is the difference between Conocer and Saber?
Both verbs conocer and saber are translated as 'to know'
- but they don't mean the same thing!

Conocer
-to be acquainted with a person
-to be familiar with a place

ex: I'm familiar with Madrid
ex: I'm familiar with Sam
ex: I'm acquainted with her

I know you.
Te conozco.

He knows me.
Él me conoce.

Saber
-to know information
-to know a skill

ex: I know it's late
ex: I know it's raining
ex: I know how to swim

We know everything.
Lo sabemos todo.

I don't know what to do.
No sé qué hacer.
