  Yo bebo refrescos.
       I drink sodas.
  ¿Bebes vino español?
       You drink Spanish wine?
  El niño bebe.
       The boy drinks.
  Nunca bebemos cerveza.
       We never drink beer.
Los alemanes no beben vino, beben cerveza.
       Germans don't drink wine, they drink beer.

Beber is primarily used in Spain.
In Latin America, the verb tomar is used.
